Come experience So Cal Mini Horse Sanctuary, located on the beautiful and historic Lost Creek

Canyon Ranch in Whitewater, California, just outside Palm Springs.

Set high in the mountains with sweeping desert and canyon views, the Sanctuary offers a peaceful and

truly unique setting to spend time with our rescued miniature horses and other Sanctuary residents -

including pigs, alpacas, emus, our mini cow, and animals both large and small.

During your private 1.5-hour visit, you'll meet our animals, hear some of their remarkable rescue stories,

learn about their care and personalities, and enjoy a personal, behind-the-scenes look at life at the

Sanctuary.

No two visits are exactly alike. Every group is different, every day at the Sanctuary is different, and we

tailor each experience to our guests - while always letting the animals help set the pace.

TOUR GUIDELINES

Please arrive a few minutes early. Tours begin promptly at the scheduled time, and we want you to

enjoy every minute of your visit. Late arrivals may result in a shortened tour, as we are unable to extend

the scheduled tour time.

No smoking or alcohol is permitted anywhere on the Lost Creek Canyon Ranch or So Cal Mini

Horse Sanctuary property.

Proper footwear is required. Please wear closed-toe, sturdy shoes suitable for walking around a working

animal sanctuary.

Dress for the weather. Our mountain location can experience conditions very different from Palm Springs

and the surrounding desert communities. Tours take place outdoors, so please check the forecast and

come prepared for sun, wind, heat, or cooler temperatures depending on the season.

And most importantly, come ready to slow down, enjoy the animals, and experience a little bit of Sanctuary life with us.

Private tours are designed to be personal and unhurried. Your $250 reservation includes up to four guests. Additional guests may be added for $50 per person, with a maximum of eight guests per private tour.

HOMESCHOOL & LARGE GROUP TOURS

Education & Enrichment Tours for Large Groups

So Cal Mini Horse Sanctuary is committed to providing meaningful educational experiences for school-age children, homeschool groups, families, seniors, and other community groups.

Through our educational tours, guests learn about animal rescue, responsible care, compassion, and what it takes to provide for the physical and emotional needs of rescued animals. Depending on the day and the animals, guests may meet our miniature horses as well as other Sanctuary residents, including pigs,

alpacas, emus, and our mini cow.

Education is an important part of our mission. By helping people understand the needs of animals and the responsibilities that come with their care, we hope to encourage compassion and help prevent neglect and abuse.

100% of tour proceeds directly support the care of the animals at So Cal Mini Horse Sanctuary.
